Sacrificing Blood for points…
By far the craziest thing I have seen today (Being that I’m writing this at 9:12 AM today still has a lot to live up to) award goes to this little gem of a DS game.

It’s all go over here you know. We’ve always been keen to inject some visual whizz into our work (on a sliding scale of quality I grant you), but never have we had to make a TV news studio for what are effectively only 30″ – 1’00” sketches! Taking on a little challenge I have…
Google maps is an amazing tool. You can literally see the world from your lap(top). It’s killed the route master programs of gone by age and replaced them with a simple “from” and “to” search system. The problem comes when said system throws a little curve ball into your travel plans (which you won’t even…
A little quality control goes a long way. Take for example this stand for the upcoming batman game “Arkham City”. It seems someone was busy doing something else while this was being cut out as they have clearly missed their mark, by quite a few centimetres too. Did someone honestly think this was good enough…
Nothing to concern yourself with but I thought I’d say it anyway. Due to the fact that I’ve had so many issues with our server of late (so much so that if it was in the same room as me and wasn’t based in Sweden I would have set fire to it by now. Fact.)…
Hmmm I have to say that i think this is a good idea actually. I mean, if a child has diabetes and has to check their glucose levels every day then it's kind of nice to make it a bit more fun. Plus it will make them feel special because they can play a game that their friends can't, though i doubt that will compensate for not being allowed a goody bag full of sugary sweets at the end of a birthday party!I have consulted my 10 year old niece on this and she says it's a good idea and has even asked whether the number of points rewarded is influenced by the glucose levels (which would be a good idea because then kids would be rewarded for keeping them in check). She did however, say that whilst the idea was good, the game itself looked pretty lame!
